In 2001, Dr. Savage launch a local nonprofit in Greenville, NC to address the health inequities of youth living in northern Pitt County.
In 2003, Shortly after Hurricane Floyd devastated the community, Dr. Savage partnered with the county to open the first ever family computer access center.
In, 2006, a new build Pitt County Boys and Girls club was built to meet the needs of families from devastation development.
In 2012, Dr. Savage launched Audacity Group Social Enterprise to create cashflow for local nonprofit to thrive due to funding disparities for black women in the U.S.
In 2014 Dr. Savage launched the online blackboard platform "Audacity Leadership Institute (A.L.I.) for career professionals to expand their careers as entrepreneurs translated to 198 nations.
In 2015, her ground breaking dissertation online social support research was completed, "Facilitator Perceptions of Mobile ACCESS for Social Support in Addiction Relapse Prevention." When individuals have access, education, and social support they are more likely to thrive.
